The Girls find the farm
Car with two girls pulls into left turn lane and waits while traffic passes, two or three police cars and a Redman Movies van pass going north while the girls are conversing, about their assignment to explore the farm, go to the farm store and pick up milk, eggs, cheeze, and soup bones for a bone broth. Traffic goes by and they make the turn.
Clair: Do you think Mom and Dad are really serious about joining a community built around a farm?
Robin: I'm not sure, but I know that's why they gave us the assignment to come out here and buy milk and stuff. I think they want us to see if it might be something we could get excited about.
Clair: It's not like we would be giving up school or something.
Clair and Robin: [both laugh]
Clair: I have been wondering for awhile what Mom and Dad are thinking, I've seen him studying a big book called Strategic Relocation. When I asked him what it was about, he siad that some of his business associates have purchases properties way away from where they live and they use that book to find safe areas.
Robin: That's interesting, have you seen the book that Mother has in her bathroom? Its really big with book marks and notes all over it, something to do with making a home secure, lots of drawings and instructions.
Clair: Well, Grandma and Grandpa grew up in the age of bomb shelters and all that stuff, so it sort of makes sense.
Robin: Well lets take a look at the farm and see what we think.
Robin: Oh look at that huge horse, how beautiful.
